Out of the many days out of the year, my favorite time of year is soon to arrive! Though I'm not a big fan of the cold and snow, I wish it on only one day of the year, December 31th. Even for those who don't celebrate New Year, I'm sure there are other holidays to be enjoyed all over the world.

I would wish to spend my New Year in a log cabin, with about 3-4 feet of snow outside and still falling. Fire glowing in the fireplace, keeping everyone toasty warm. The smell of a real christmas tree, with beautiful lights, sparkly garlands and beads, little unique ornaments and a glowing angel at the top, watching over. Presents under the tree from loved ones. Everyone in good spirits, children happy with smiles on their faces. A ham with buttery bread, potatoes with traditional salad Oliv'e and a cup of sweet tea.
